** A product of our Custom Shop. We cannot obtain this size in a Square Head Lag, so we buy the next longer size in a Hex Head Lag, cut the head off, thread the shank, plug-weld a square nut on the top, and finish it off smooth. These heads are 13/16" (the regular nut size, of course). The pricing reflects the labor-intensive process necessary.
*** Another Product of our Custom Shop, Plan B. Another size no longer available anywhere, but this time we are over-cutting lag bolt threads on square head machine bolts. Somewhat less time-consuming than head transplants (see above), but still a considerable expenditure of time and effort. A bonus is the resulting standard head size, and not the nut size.
