There are several uses for Type U Drive Screws, including using them a rivet-substitutes,
when their appearance is more important than their function.
A #10 head is equivalent to that of an 1/8" Round Head Rivet;
a #14 head is equivalent to that of a 3/16" Round Head Rivet.
