Rub Washers for your Square Head bolts
Have you ever wanted something to keep the bolthead corners from digging into the finish on your bracket, mounting plate, or escutcheon?
Rub Washers will do that for you.
With a snug inside diameter that keeps itself well-centered on the bolt shank, and an outer diameter no larger then the bolt-head's across-the-flats dimension, a Rub Washer keeps the corners of the square head from digging into the finish on it's last half-turn. And they're thinner than a standard flatwasher or lockwasher, too.

There are some older square head lags in the larger diameters, with oversized shanks, that require Rub washers with a larger inside diameter than the newer bolts. Accordingly, we have both a "small" and a "large" version of these sizes. If you purchase both square head lags and Rub Washers from us, we will make sure the washers will fit your bolts before we ship the order.
