Important Notice Regarding Square Head Lag Bolts
Our supply chain is now challenged. The Master Fastener Distributor that had been the "800 pound gorilla of square head lags," Heads & Threads Int'l., went bankrupt in May of 2011.
Subsequent efforts to interest other Master Distributors in stocking at least the dozen most popular sizes met with frustration and discouragement. Meanwhile, we have been working with a diminishing supply of them. Consequently, we have recently committed to a Mill Order for 14 different sizes of square head lags, totalling roughly 31,000 pounds or 685,000 pieces.
The bad news is that it will be some time before they arrive here. We will run out of more than just a few sizes of them. We already have run out of some sizes. Realistically, we look for them in May 2012.
The good news is that when they do arrive, we will have all the sizes we used to have, and a few more that we, and more than a few of you, have always wished we had. And, the pricing should be unchanged. |
